Adventurous Private Chef Needed!

Position Summary:
Active and health-conscious couple based in the Spokane, WA area are looking to hire a top-level and adventurous Private Chef who loves the outdoors, using fresh farm-to-table ingredients, and who will embrace the principals’ desire for privacy and discretion.

Responsibilities:
The couple would like a chef who can prepare light lunches and nightly dinners five days a week for the two of them and occasional family members and guests. In the summer season, guests come to dinner several nights a week; during the winter, entertaining is much more limited. The couple prefers meals made with locally sourced and grown ingredients that fits into their active and healthy lifestyle.

Qualifications:
Culinary degree or equivalent high-level culinary experience required. Must be familiar with a wide range of cuisines and be comfortable preparing meals according to various dietary restrictions and preferences (vegan, gluten-free, pescatarian, vegetarian, etc.). Ability to travel with the couple internationally a plus. Must be comfortable working in a home with large friendly dogs.

Schedule:
Flexible work schedule available to work five days a week, with two consecutive days off if desired; ability to accommodate the family’s entertaining schedule required.

Salary:
Compensation up to $175,000 offered, depending on experience on qualifications, with benefits; a relocation package is available, and qualified and experienced chefs from across the country are invited to apply. Live-on accommodations are available if needed.
