Freelance Meal Delivery Chef

Hi guys!

I'm a former NGI grad. My friend Lee, who owns WoodSpoon (you might have seen their ads on the NYC subway) is hiring many chefs for their platform. They're hiring salaried chefs (you would be paid by the company) to cook from home. You set the menu! This is a new program that they're currently implementing. They're also hiring part-time freelance home cooks to sell meals to customers using their platform. Both positions are flexible, WELL-PAYING roles, especially if you don't like running around the city sourcing your own meal delivery clients. If I wasn't operating my food product company, I would be all over this.

Here is the job description:

WoodSpoon is currently looking for professional chefs in Manhattan and Brooklyn. WoodSpoon is a funded startup that provides home cooked meals from home chefs to customers since 2019. We are looking for chefs to cook both classic & unique dishes from the comfort of their own kitchens. This is a unique opportunity to flex your creative cooking skills and to curate 3 or 4 menus based on your own flair - the best part, it’s around your own schedule! We are looking for 20-40 hours per week, making up to $5500 per month depending on your availability.

While you focus on the cooking, WoodSpoon will handle the rest: logistics of delivery, packaging, payment processing, marketing, and liability insurance.
