Freelance Chef

A pop-up within an Art Gallery that would create unique events and culinary experiences with the healing arts at the core of the recipes. The Chef can cover a variety of different tasks, from organization and training to menu development and recipe creation. The chef is the second in command and will run the kitchen in the executive chef’s/owner's absence.

Primary Task: Team and systems management
Number Per Kitchen: Can be more than one in a kitchen depending on the size of the establishment/events
Other Duties:

  • Train newly hired chefs and cooks, a

  • Oversee each dish details,

  • Create healthy, fast pace systems for online/mobile ordering.

Salary: Negotiable

Requirements:

  • All documents are required, and a background in the healing arts of food i.e. Macrobiotics, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Congee, Pho, Herbal tea, etc. would be required, or at best, a chef that can create within the guidelines of the concept.

  • Prefer a non-smoker and a practitioner of the healthy lifestyle we represent.

  • Agree to a background check and create a presentation of your skill.
