Food Service Manager
Jandi's is entering an exciting time! There is new ownership and we are about to embark on a cafe and deli remodel. We are looking for a responsible, hard working, highly motivated individual to take over the management of our food service department including initially a large amount of cooking in one of Long Island's oldest most trusted natural food markets. Responsibilities include menu planning and preparation, food costing, purchasing, hiring, firing and training team members, improving efficiency, line expansions and catering. The right candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a well run commercial cooking environment with some experience in at least 4 of the areas mentioned above. Accountability directly to owner.
